My internal light, my love and joy was hidden behind
my resentments.
I uncovered them by forgiving.

Learn How To Forgive!

Purchase The Forgiveness Workbook

Hi, I'm Wayne Kauppila, and my passion is Teaching People How To Forgive!

Why is this my passion?  Because I have seen so much positive change in people’s lives who have practiced the methods of forgiveness that I teach.
I also, have benefited from forgiving.  I was raised by two physically abusive parents who were also emotionally unavailable due to their Scandinavian stoicism.  As a result, I became an angry, rageful, defiant young man.  I got married and continued the cycle of physical abuse of our own children.  I was also becoming an alcoholic.  I entered therapy and for three years worked on my issues with EMDR therapy, but I was still angry.  I finally learned how to forgive and my anger was healed.  I was able to forgive my parents and I came to believe that my own children could forgive me for hurting them.
During this time, I was also attending the Graduate School of Addiction Studies at Hazelden in Center City, MN.  I graduated with a Masters degree and then worked in several addiction counseling businesses.  In working with addicts and alcoholics, I began to see the devastating effects of carrying resentments from all types of abuse.  I would sporadically ask them to try forgiveness and almost without exception, they would experience tremendous amounts of healing in a short time.
One of the clients asked me to put the process down in writing so that he could help his friends to find healing.  So, I wrote my first book, Opening The Door To Freedom With Forgiveness Therapy.

The workbook has already helped hundreds of people find healing from their resentments.  My hope and mission in life it that this workbook will eventually help millions of people find healing.
Peace and Love, Wayne Kauppila

Real Success Stories

Before I purchased this book I did not think I would learn all that much, being thoroughly familiar with forgiveness and having practiced it and shared it with others for many years. Wow was I wrong. This small book really packs a punch. It is powerful in its simplicity. It is non threatening and the exercises are simple and easy to follow. If you really want to experience inner freedom, follow these exercises and let go of the stuck energy from past painful experiences. Forgiving others is the fastest easiest way to move forward. This book also gives a great explanation for how to answer people when they ask “why” or “why did this happen to me” or asking about revenge, justice or if people get away with doing the things they do. The concept of justice, revenge and people getting away with things will keep you stuck in your mind, and you will never let go of the past. Forgiveness happens in the spiritual realm, beyond the mind and it’s thoughts about why things happen. Once you experience the freedom and joy in forgiveness, you will know that no one really gets away with anything even if they committed a crime and were not caught by authorities. Do this for yourself and give yourself, your family and loved ones the greatest gift of all, inner freedom.

I just finished reading Forgiveness Therapy and I am blown away! Must
confess when I first started reading it, I wasn’t sure how this would be
different from doing a 4th & 5th Step. Now, I see. It picks up where the
5th Step leaves off. I can see where many victims of abuse can
use this as an enhancement to working those Steps.

I meet with a group of people weekly to read from the book, The Course in
Miracles. That has helped me to understand how to forgive. But, it’s very
heady and takes a lot longer. Forgiveness Therapy is genius in it’s simplicity.

The wisdom here is nothing short of divinely-inspired.This work is obviously
written by a most dedicated, spiritual student of the Twelve Steps, the big
book of Alcoholics Anonymous and the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions.

This makes for quite a package of wisdom. I will be eternally grateful, both
personally and professionally, for having read this. This is a gift. I will buy
additional copies to share with my colleagues.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for carrying this very important work.
